Discretion is part of every Beyond experience. This notice explains, in plain language, how we handle the personal data you share with us.
1. Who we are
Beyond the Render is operated by Miftah FZCO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal data described in this notice. Contact: life@beyondtherender.ae.
2. What we collect
- Booking details: name, email, WhatsApp number, experience, date, time and number of guests.
- Bookings made on someone's behalf: the booker's details, a principal's initials or reference, and company name and tax number for invoices.
- Your private brief: what you choose to tell us about your property, project, hotel and dietary needs.
- Payment records: amount, date and a payment reference. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
- Website use: basic, privacy-friendly analytics about pages visited. We do not use advertising trackers.
3. How we use it
- To confirm, prepare and host your experience.
- To take payment and issue tax invoices.
- To arrange your table, yacht or venue with our partners.
- To send you the written summary after your session.
- To send the Beyond letter, only if you sign up; you can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Why we are allowed to
We process your data to carry out the booking you request, to meet our legal and tax obligations, and, for the Beyond letter, with your consent. We follow the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
5. Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We share only what each service needs to do its job:
- Stripe, for payments.
- Calendly and Google (Calendar and Meet), for scheduling and video calls.
- Our hosting, database and email providers, to run this website and send you messages.
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there.
- Partner venues (Santorini, Nara or your hotel): only your name, date, time and group size.
6. International transfers
Some of these services store data outside the UAE. Where they do, we rely on their contractual and security safeguards for international transfers.
7. How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for as long as UAE tax law requires. Private briefs and session notes are deleted 24 months after your last experience, unless you ask us to keep them for a future booking.
8. How we protect it
Access to your brief is limited to the four hosts. Our systems use encrypted connections, individual logins and two-factor authentication. Private briefs and principal references are encrypted in our database. We can sign an NDA before your session.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or give you a copy. You can withdraw consent to the Beyond letter at any time. Write to life@beyondtherender.ae and we will reply within 30 days.
10. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the website to work and for privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use cookies for advertising.
11. Changes to this notice
We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date.
